Participation of CCRC in The 75th Annual Meeting of Japanese Cancer Association

The 75th Annual Meeting of Japanese Cancer Association is the 75th annual seminar organized by JCA, which is an association of cancer researcher based in Japan. Seminar is held at the Pacifico, Yokohama, Japan on October 6-8th, 2016 with the theme “Breakthrough in Cancer Treatment: Collaboration of Basic, Translation, and Clinical Research”.

At the Seminar, CCRC participates by sending delegations with three oral presentation title “PGB-0: New boron carrying pharmaceutical based on curcumin structure for BNCT targeted on HER2” each was presented by Prof. Dr. Edy Meiyanto, M.Si., Apt., “A new curcumin analogue increases anticancer properties of doxorubicin to 4T1 Cells” each was presented by Ratih Kusumastuti, M.Biotech., and “Hedyotis corymbosa L. and Its Compound Ursolic Acid Inhibit HER2 Expression and NF-kB Activation on Breast Cancer Cells” each was presented by Dhania Novitasari, S.Farm. In addition, the CCRC also participates one poster presentation title “Anticancer Activity and Its Genotoxic Evaluation of Caesalpinia sappan through HER2 on Breast Cancer Cells” each was presented by Beni Lestari, S.Farm., Apt.

Beside attended the seminar, the delegations of CCRC also visit members of CCRC who are studying in NAIST Japan.

Hopefully after attended this seminar can be an inspiration for CCRC to work ahead and develop cancer chemoprevention research in the future.
